RG Connects HHD Patient to Doctors at Yale

RG had the privilege of helping a patient who was referred by the leader of Hailey-Hailey Disease (HHD) Worldwide Support Group. The patient has a very rare and debilitating blistering skin condition known as Hailey-Hailey Disease. Through RG’s collaboration with Yale and referral, the patient who was in a state of physical and emotional crisis due to the condition, was able to see a physician who could help her despite her complicated situation. The patient took time out to write the HHD World Support Group leader, thanking her for opening the door to Yale, who then credited the thanks to RG for being instrumental in this. Although the patient has a long road ahead of her, she indicated that being sent to Yale might have actually saved her life. RG is continuing to work with the Hailey-Hailey Disease Worldwide Support Group to help patients who have the condition.
