Boston, MA – October 22 – RGI attended a two-day Rare Disease Roundtable Meeting sponsored by the Global Healthy Living Foundation (GHLF). The meeting included several presentations describing the work of organizations that are working with and providing support for rare disease patients. Several strategic planning sessions were held to help leaders determine how they might make maximum impact within and through their organizations. The GHLF offered customized support to each of the organizations and plans to host similar meetings in the future. Groups in attendance included RGI, SWAN-USA, American Behcet’s Disease Association, Safe Space, Care Plus NJ, Cook For Love, and GHLF.
