Receive samples & funding!
The Rare Genomics Institute presents researchers with patient samples + funds for sequencing-based research.
We will discuss the details of each project with researchers as soon as the required funds are raised. Our goal will always be to provide the patient with information and make the anonymized results available to the research community.
Sequence genomes & analyze obtained data.
Genomes are sequenced and analyzed and key findings are summarized and presented to clinical geneticists.
Results are published (together with us) and clinically validated for potential diagnoses/ therapeutics. Our long term goals and future perspectives are:
- Contribute to better diagnosis
- Better understanding of pathologies
- Initiate further research
- Contribute to new treatments
